400,000 visitors to the Fête de l’Huma for its first edition at Plessis-Paté in Essonne

After 21 years in La Courneuve, the Fête de l’Huma brought together 400,000 visitors this weekend in Essonne. The high mass of the communist daily was for the first time organized on the air base of Plessis-Pâté.

1st edition without health restrictions since 2019

Attendance at this 2022 edition is therefore 10 times greater than in 2021, because due to the Covid, the gauge had been limited to 40,000 people. It had not taken place in 2020 for health reasons. Nevertheless, the Fêtes de l’Huma before the pandemic brought together around 500,000 fans of political debates and/or concerts.

Anyway for the communist senator of Seine-Saint-Denis Fabien Gay, also director of the newspaper l’Humanité, the 2022 version is a success.
