Legendary group from Sweden, ABBA made their comeback on Friday November 5th, with a new album called “Voyage”. The album, which is signed by the trademark of the group by its style, will allow to anticipate a future tour.
ABBA’s new album, titled Trip, sounds like a trip back in time. Listening to excerpts from this new opus, published 40 years after the last one, passers-by are not mistaken. “We recognize the sound, there is the trademark”, say two passers-by. In Sweden, where ABBA is a national treasure, the album of the country’s largest music group is loved by all generations. “We dreamed about it all these years”, explains a father.
“We had the opportunity to write new music for ABBA and record it. And when we got to the studio, we thought ‘yes, we like the result'”, explains Benny Andersson, member of the legendary group. Due to their age, ABBA members will not perform concerts in physical presence: they will be holograms that will be on stage in May 2022 in London (United Kingdom).
