While no one was injured during the event that occurred on Bégin Road, a large sum of money had been stolen.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) investigation, in collaboration with the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ), finally led to the arrest of Frantz Bélizaire, a 48-year-old man from Lévis, last Friday.

A search enabled the police to seize money.

The suspect appeared at the Saint-Joseph courthouse in Beauce on December 3 to face charges of robbery and disguise with intent.

He remained detained until his release hearing on Wednesday.
