On the night of Monday, September 9 to Tuesday, September 10, a new attack was carried out in al-Mawassi, in the south of Gaza, where Palestinians evacuating the targeted neighborhoods in the enclave are supposed to be gathering.
The impacts are impressive. These strikes left no chance of survival to those who were there. At least 40 people were killed and dozens were injured after an Israeli attack on a humanitarian zone in Khan Younis, according to the Gaza Civil Defense. The displaced people are supposed to be safe there, but the Hebrew state decided to target this place in the middle of the tents. This morning, the Israeli army justified its bombings. It explained that it targeted this area after having identified the presence of Hamas cadres there.
Al-Mawasi, in the city of Khan Younis, was designated a safe zone by the Israeli army at the beginning of the war, and tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians have sought refuge there. The zone is located in the southern Gaza Strip, a few kilometers from the Egyptian border. It is a 14-kilometer-long rectangle, pressed against the sea.
