This is a new page being written for Matthieu Delormeau… And for good reason, remember, in May 2023, the emblematic columnist of Do not touch My TV announced via his Count X (formerly Twitter) thathe abruptly left the talk show as well as the host of the weekly program TPMP People.
“After 7 years on the air, I decided to leave TPMP and TPMP People for good. I wanted to thank you, the viewers, hoping to have entertained, amused, touched, and I also know how to sometimes annoy. Thanks to C8, to the teams , on air, production and obviously to Cyril. Life is beautiful and we are lucky to have several of them”,he had written.
A publication which had preceded of aoutpouring of support from C8 viewers. As proof, a few weeks later, Matthieu Delormeau was elected “best TV columnist” by our colleagues at Puremédias following a survey in partnership with an RTL.
A victory for Cyril Hanouna’s former sidekick who wanted to show his gratitude via his social networks:“Thank you to everyone who voted. ‘Best columnist of the year’ and TPMP People 5th ‘best talk show of the season’ behind the giants Quotidien, what an era. TPMP and C to you… these results surprise me as much as they touch me. THANKS”he wrote on July 11, 2023.
A kindness from the French that the host continues to feel. Indeed, on September 16, almost five months after his departure from TPMPthe latter once again took the floor to thank all those who continued to support him despite his departure from the small screen.
