A 31-year-old man was stabbed during a brawl in the Gayeulles park in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. He received two stab wounds in the abdomen and one in the thigh. 4 people including 3 brothers are in custody. They are between 23 and 35 years old.
According to the Rennes prosecutor, the scene takes place during a drunken evening, organized by members of the Tunisian community. shortly before midnight, a fight breaks out, opposing the victim and another man. The latter leaves the park and returns a few moments later, accompanied by his two brothers and another man. The group violently attacks the victim, who is beaten up before being hit with two stab wounds in the abdomen and thigh. The attackers then fled. When paramedics arrived, the man was in cardio-respiratory arrest and died of his injuries.
The investigation opened for intentional homicide is entrusted to the judicial police of Rennes.
