The days and matches that follow one another, good atmosphere and fair play, a number of good points, a few racket throws: this is our sports program for mid-December.

Ugo HUMBERT at the Zénith de Caen! 25th in the world and 1st French in the Race, Messin is having a magnificent season … At only 23 years old, he carries the best hopes of French tennis for years to come.

David GOFFIN which is back after coming in 2013 (title) and 2014 (final). Today 33rd in the world, the Belgian has the experience of a very high level … unfailing professionalism and great experience, he will have to be counted on!

Lucas POUILLE will be there too … he who offered the silver bowl of the Davis Cup to the France team in 2017 … great moment of sport! The native of Grande-Synthe: an exceptional player.

Anett KONTAVEIT ! The 25-year-old Estonian, currently 20th in the world and 16th in the breed, is a formidable competitor!

Alizée Cornet, French number 1 and 59th player in the world, holder of 6 career titles as well as the 2019 Fed Cup, 3 participations in the Olympic Games to her credit, the last of which in Beijing in 2020 joined the Caen Open.

Benjamin BONZI, 63rd in the world and 47th and first player to win 20 consecutive matches on the Challenger circuit since 2017. He is also the first player to have won 3 consecutive Challengers since 2016. He has gleaned 6 titles in a single season, it’s rare enough to be underlined and that suggests a milestone in the Caen Open.
