The leader of the Conservative Party of Quebec is far from impressed by the flip-flop of the Legault government in the file of the third link. According to Éric Duhaime, the CAQ had the studies in hand during the last election campaign.

“I made a request for access to information,” said Mr. Duhaime.
At the microphone of Richard Martineau, via QUB radio, he believes that looking at the new version of the project, Quebecers must question themselves on the relevance of a new structure between Quebec and Lévis, but the question must be debated by the voters who are directly targeted: the people of the Capitale-Nationale region.

Moreover, in the same breath, he wondered about the relevance of holding this debate in the public square of Montreal.
Mr. Duhaime also harshly criticized Mayor Valérie Plante, who had spoken out on the new project even before the elected officials of Quebec and Lévis had done so.
