39 members of the ultra-right movement were arrested and placed in police custody on Saturday February 10 afternoon in Paris for “participation in a group with the aim of committing violence or damage”, Franceinfo learned on Saturday from the Paris prosecutor’s office. All were taken into custody. About fifteen of them are listed as S.

These people were arrested at 4 p.m. at the exit of the Charonne cemetery in the 20th arrondissement of the capital by police officers from Brav-M, the Brigade for the Repression of Motorized Violent Action.

Well-known names in justice

Among them are personalities from the ultra-right, notably Marc de Cacqueray-Valmenier, former leader of the small group “Zouaves”, dissolved in January 2022 by the Council of Ministers, as well as Gabriel Loustau, a figure of Gud, the Union Defense Group, far-right organization.

On X, the Paris police chief Laurent Nuñez addressed his “congratulations to the agents of the police headquarters, including the Brav-M, for their responsiveness”.
