The Quebec Foundation for Athlete Excellence, in partnership with the National Bank, rewarded 38 student-athletes, who shared a total bursary of $126,000.

These individual scholarships worth $2,000 and $4,000 were awarded as part of the 30and edition of the National Bank Scholarship Program. These awards were given to athletes between the ages of 15 and 24 in the emerging, elite and excellence categories.
Martine Dessureault, Vice-President-Enterprises at National Bank, explained how important it was for the company to encourage the next generation of athletes from here: “Having myself been a scholarship recipient as part of my former career as athlete, I can testify to the positive impact of FAEQ scholarships in the lives of student-athletes and the importance of supporting academic perseverance. I wish this year’s scholarship recipients success in achieving their goals. »
For his part, the President of the Foundation for Athlete Excellence, Martin Lavigne, is delighted to be able to contribute to the development of young athletes who have worked hard to get through the last two years.
Of the 38 scholarships awarded, 23 are for academic excellence, which aim to highlight academic success. The other 15 are dedicated to supporting academic and sports success, to promote the sports and studies coalition.
