Of the new cases, 226 were unvaccinated or had received only one dose less than 14 days ago, 12 had received only one dose at least 14 days ago and 104 had received a second dose at least seven days ago.
The provincial toll is now 420,471 infected people, of whom 404,157 have recovered, and 11,453 deaths.
297 hospitalizations were reported on Tuesday, a drop of six compared to the day before. Of these patients, 75 are in intensive care, a decrease of two.

Regarding vaccination, 6,258 doses were administered in the province in the last 24 hours, for a total of 13,108,253. Outside Quebec, 208,631 doses were received by Quebecers.
According to the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec, 79% of the population has received at least one dose of vaccine against COVID-19. Among those 12 years and older, 90.2% have received at least one dose and 87.2% are adequately vaccinated.
