Accompanied by Catherine Vautrin, new Minister of Health, Gabriel Attal went to the Dijon University Hospital (Côte-d’Or), Saturday January 13. The new Prime Minister has promised an additional investment of 32 billion euros for the health sector over the next five years.
“A national treasure to be preserved” : Gabriel Attal, the new Prime Minister, uses the same words for the hospital and for the school. Faced with him and Catherine Vautrin, new Minister of Health and Solidarity, the healthcare workers were unconvinced by the formula and very worried, Saturday January 13, at the Dijon University Hospital (Côte-d’Or). “I don’t know if you realize it, but the hospital is dying”asked a caregiver.
Lack of attractiveness
Lack of resources, personnel, attractiveness or investment… So many problems that have been plaguing the public hospital for years. An observation in which the Prime Minister promises 32 billion euros of investment in the field of health in the next five years. This is the logical continuation, according to him, of the government’s action for years. He notably returned to the Ségur de la santé in 2020.
