The building caught fire around 11 p.m. this Wednesday, July 27 in Payzac in Périgord Noir, at a place called Codert. The fire ignited the 1,600m2 room and what was stored inside, ie 300 tonnes of hay bales. There were no injuries.
The intervention of the firefighters, assisted by two fire hoses, prevented the fire from spreading to another building. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
