The jurors of the Assize Court of Indre-et-Loire followed the requisitions of the Advocate General, Friday, September 30: at the end of two days of hearing, they condemned to 30 years of imprisonment the man who had very seriously injured the boss of the tobacco-press Le Khédive, in Tours, in 2019.
The man tried for two days before the Assize Court of Indre-et-Loire received the maximum penaltylast night: he was sentenced to 30 years’ imprisonment for having robbed twice, a few days apart, the tobacco-press Le Khédive, rue Nationale, in Tours, in December 2019.
He had very seriously injured the owner of the establishment with several stab wounds during the second robbery. During the hearings, this man whose criminal record already included four mentions sometimes expressed regret, but he obviously did not convince the jurors.
The convict has ten days to appeal. According to our colleagues from La Nouvelle République, the hypothesis was considered by the defense last night.
