About thirty kilometers from Jerusalem, there was an explosion of joy. “I still feel like it’s a dream (…) we saw peace”exclaims a resident.

Dead end

“Not an Arab or Jewish woman is happy to bring a boy or a girl into the world, when 17 years later he will go to war”, continues a woman. The agreements lead to a acknowledgement mutual cooperation of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization. Partial autonomy for Palestine is granted, time to address the most thorny questions. 30 years later, however, it is an impasse.
