At the start of the school year in September 2022, are planned in the Manche 30 class closures and 11 openings among which three are provisional means for one year. Three substitute positions are also created and management discharges will increase in around sixty schools in the department.
This school map was presented at the Departmental Council for National Education in La Manche on February 3. The representatives of the teachers’ unions and the parents of pupils voted against these proposals. Adjustments could be made at the start of the school year depending on the workforce. A committee should meet at the end of August.
The academic management of the national education services in La Manche has planned to officially communicate and detail these measures on February 8.
