Storm Louis begins to blow across France. At 4 p.m., Thursday February 22, a total of 26 departments were placed on orange alert for “strong winds”. In its latest bulletin, Météo-France specifies that this Orange vigilance will end in the evening. Only two departments, Seine-et-Marne and Deux-Sèvres, will remain on orange alert level on Friday for the risk of flooding.

Storm Louis will affect a large northern half of France and will be accompanied by “marked rain” as well as “burst violence”precise Meteo France. “These violent gusts will also occur at the foot of the Pyrenees,” adds the weather agency.
