25 years after the film’s release, a sequel could soon hit our screens!

This sequel was to be revealed during a charity event

Indeed, the director revealed that he has already written the sequel to the romantic comedy, but not in the format you might think : “I wrote Love at first sight in Notting Hill 2, which was to be a 10-minute mini-film set in the office of a divorce lawyer. Hugh and Julia want to separate, until they realize they still love each other.”

Co creator of thecharitable organisationComic ReliefRichard Curtis explained that he wanted to release this sequel on the occasion of Red Nose Day 2023one of the UK’s largest telethons coordinated every two years by his organization to raise funds to fight famine in Ethiopia. But unfortunately, Richard Curtis was unable to deliver his short film during the event celebrated across the country on March 17, 2023.
