About fifteen films in national preview are to be discovered at the Gérardmer Cinema Meetings from April 5 to 8, 2022.
Gérardmer hosts from April 5 to 8, 2022, the 24th edition of the Rencontres du Cinéma.
The Rencontres du Cinéma are organized by cinema exhibitors, film distributors, the Tourist Office and the town of Gérardmer. They offer preview screenings of around twenty films, in the presence of film crews and film professionals. The films are shown to the general public in the Casino’s cinema room, on the shores of Lake Gérardmer.
For four days, about fifteen films are screened in national preview. Films that will mark the cinematographic news of the coming months, whether they are expected mainstream films, Art & Essay films or films aimed at young audiences.
Every year, the Meetings bring together around a hundred cinema operators from all over eastern France and other regions, who thus discover the next releases, exchange their experiences, meet the teams who have come to present their films as well as their partners. : distributors, institutions and service providers in the field of cinema. The Gérardmer meetings also have the particularity of bringing together journalists and film critics.
