France Bleu Provence is a partner of the 23rd National Festival of Amateur Theater from April 2 to June 11, 2022 in Marseille.
Since 1999, the National Amateur Theater Festival is part of the actions promoted by the FNCTA (National Federation of Amateur Theater and Animation Companies) of Bouches-du-Rhône, a popular education association bringing together around a hundred amateur theater troupes affiliated in the department.
From amateur theater to professional Marseille theater
An unmissable event, the National Amateur Theater Festival allows amateur theater troupes to perform in the largest professional theaters in Marseille and to promote exchanges between amateur troupes from all over France but also with the Marseille public, faithful to the appointment.
The diversity of theatrical creation
By welcoming amateur theater troupes from all over France, the festival highlights the diversity of theatrical creation, with a varied repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary, including comedy and cabaret. The festival is known for its friendly atmospherewarm, and, each year, the team undertakes to schedule moments of meetings and public awarenessthrough support organized around multiple mediation actions (practical workshops, outings, visits, discussion time, etc.).
Two months in the most beautiful Marseille theaters
The program of the festival extends over two months, and consists of shows, meetings, and other activities related to live performance. 13 amateur theater companies have been selected to present their show between April 2 and June 11. 19 shows will take place in the most beautiful theaters of Marseille, without forgetting the most of the festival.
