The day after floods in Hérault, a large part of western France will experience violent storms on Sunday September 17. Météo France has placed 23 departments on orange vigilance from 4 p.m. and until the night. Its bulletin mentions in particular a risk of hail, strong gusts, heavy rain and intense electrical activity.

The departments concerned are Calvados, Charente, Cher, Corrèze, Creuse, Dordogne, Eure, Gers, Gironde, Haute-Vienne, Hautes-Pyrénées, Indre, Indre- et-Loire, Landes, Loir-et-Cher, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, Manche, Orne, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Seine-Maritime, Tarn-et-Garonne and Vienne .
