The charges against him are heavy. A man was indicted for “murder” and “kidnapping and forcible confinement”, Friday March 3, as part of the investigation into the disappearance of a young couple at the end of November in Deux-Sèvres, announced the parquet floor of Poitiers (Vienne). Nathan Badji, 22, is also being prosecuted for “modifying the inventory of a crime”.

The day before, a first suspect had been indicted for “kidnapping and forcible confinement”. It was this friend who was to house Leslie Hoorelbeke, 22, and Kevin Trompat, 21, on the night of their disappearance. A third man, still in custody, must be presented to a judge on Saturday for his possible indictment.

Since their disappearance in Prahecq, near Niort, during the night of November 25 to 26, Leslie Hoorelbeke and Kevin Trompat have not given any sign of life. Nathan Badji is from Puyravault (Charente-Maritime), a village where belongings belonging to the couple had been found in a container for recycling clothes.
