A 21-year-old young man was shot dead on Monday evening in Marseille by men riding a scooter, franceinfo learned on Tuesday May 24 from a police source.
The facts took place around 8:25 p.m. in the 14th arrondissement while the victim was in a parking lot located on Chemin du Fontainieu, Saint-Joseph district in the city of Castellas.
Four men on two scooters approached the young man while he was in a vehicle, the passengers of the two scooters fired at him with handguns. He was hit by several bullets and died instantly, said the same source.
The scooter shooters fled. The police, called on the spot, chased them. They were intercepted but only one of the four suspects was arrested. The investigation was handed over to the federal police.
