In the program :

March 24, 2022 at 8:30 p.m.: “The heirs”

  • Paul-Lamm village hall, Rue Henri-Hoffmann- Hagondange
  • Full price: 5.00 €
  • Play by Alain Krief, presented by the Cie les Z’Effrontés.

Hardly had they arrived at the widow’s, after the customary words and airs of circumstance, they settled down and, little by little, they settled in. Then they evaluate, haggle and finally take everything. They are repulsive, filthy and unscrupulous, but they are within their rights: they are the heirs. With a real theme of society (inheritance and concubinage), the author, by relating a real organized looting, makes a caustic portrayal of the family, dissected with humour, cynicism and causticity. It hurts, but it makes you laugh!

March 26, 2022 at 8:30 p.m.: “The Greek’s sister”

  • Paul-Lamm village hall, Rue Henri-Hoffmann – Hagondange
  • Full price: 5.00 €
  • Performance of the Mimes and Masks Company.

How to spend a quiet New Year’s Eve when you’re looking for a title for your book, your partner is on the verge of an explosion, a couple claims to have rented the same apartment, a therapist friend arrives in the midst of a depression and your mistress threatens to disembark? The simple reading of the pitch of “The Greek Sister” is enough to be convinced: we are in the purest tradition of vaudeville with misunderstandings and slamming doors. In a crescendo that seems to know no bounds, the actors chain performances, good words and replicas that kill until a hallucinated paroxysm (but irresistible) which brings them to the heart of the drunken night (and not only) of the New Year!

March 27, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.: “Why did we eat dad?”

  • Paul-Lamm village hall, Rue Henri-Hoffmann – Hagondange
  • Full price: 5.00 €
  • Adaptation by Serge Travers from the book by Roy Lewis. By the company the Chimera.

We discover a sub-human family: Edouard the father, to conquer the species, wants to make man evolve towards a better world. To achieve his ends, he does not hesitate to outrageously exploit the resources of nature. Ernest, the son, and his Uncle Vania will manage to stop him. Written like an initiatory tale, this show revisits the major social themes with so British humor. : the place of the family, education, ecology, the role of women and the eternal debate between those who want to make things happen – represented by Edouard, the inventor father – and those who think it was better before – with Uncle Vania’s cult formula “Back to the trees! “. The play’s anachronisms make it strikingly topical.
