2,000 demonstrators in Paris in “three wild processions”, the police intervene

After President Emmanuel Macron’s speech at 8 p.m. on pension reform, 2,000 people are demonstrating this Monday, April 17 in Paris in “three wild processions”, indicates the Paris police headquarters to franceinfo.

These 2,000 demonstrators are spread over three locations in the capital. They are 1,400 demonstrators in the 10th arrondissement, 300 on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville (4th arrondissement) and 300 in the 13th arrondissement of the capital.

The security forces have been intervening since about 9 p.m. in order to “put an end to garbage fires and avoid incidents”said the police.
