2 weeks after the tragedy, the teacher’s car was found by police officers driving on the road!

She had tried to make people believe it was a burglary which turned into a tragedy… But against all odds,
Justine Jotham admitted to stabbing her husband a few hours after being taken into police custody
Wednesday September 20, 2023.

As a reminder,
this 37-year-old municipal councilor and teacher had herself informed the authorities following the death of her husband Patrice Charlemage on the night of Sunday to Monday September 18
. Indeed, upon their arrival, the police were greeted by the mother who was holding her 20-month-old baby in her arms while the body of the 51-year-old professor was discovered on the first floor of the pavilion of the couple located not far from the town of Dunkirk.

Despite Justine Jotham’s statements regarding “the burglary” of her home, the investigators quickly wanted to favor other avenues. The reason ? the discovery of two bloody knives, a flashlight and gloves were soon found near the couple’s home… Including a glove that had a cut similar to the wound the 30-year-old had on her left hand. So many elements which justify the placement in police custody of the mother.
Police custody after which Justine Jotham was finally indicted and placed in pre-trial detention for “assassination” Friday September 22, 2023 indicates the Dunkirk public prosecutor’s office.

Patrice Charlemagne’s car stolen

While Justine Jotham has been in pre-trial detention for more than two weeks, the vehicle of the late Patrice Charlemagne was stolen during the night from Wednesday to Thursday October 5, 2023.

A Peugeot 207 stolen near the family home who has already been spotted by the police, according to information from BFM TV. In fact, the police located the professor’s car while it was driving.

Later, the police found the vehicle along the canal on Quai Wilson while the suspects fled, indicate our colleagues.
