A true icon of the 1980s, Thierry Pastor could very well have never enjoyed the career that everyone knows him to have. Quite simply because he almost died when he was 11 years old. This is the terrible confession he made to

in the show At Jordan’sbroadcast this Friday March 15, 2024.
“You are 21 years old and a tragic accident is going to happen in your life”the journalist first reminded him before his guest gave some details: “In 1983, May 8, 1983, a date that we cannot forget, I lived in Montparnasse at the time, and I said to my girlfriend when I woke up one morning, ‘listen, I don’t want to ‘go to the show today’ (…) for what reason I didn’t want to go? I don’t know”.
Thierry Pastor probably sensed what was going to happen. In fact, the singer finally went to the show with his partner. And at “back from the show, we get a guy with 2.7 grams of alcohol”he revealed.

Thierry Pastor, “grateful” to the driver
“I was sleeping in the back, not strapped in. I had my girlfriend, who was next to the driver. Me not strapped in, sleeping, I hit the pillar of the car. The guy in front died instantly , my girlfriend had two or three scratches, the driver, him, everything that was pelvis, knee, and others”he detailed.
Still sleepy, Thierry Pastor found himself at “the hospital without really knowing why (…)”. “The guy who examined me said ‘we have to do everything again’. Six fractures to the face, including the palate split in two… a monster (…) Bloodshot eyes, and not cuts, eh, fractures !”remembered the artist, now 64 years old.
Despite everything, he doesn’t blame the driver and even claims to be grateful: “I had no animosity against anyone (…) the guy was just drunk”. He assures that this accident is a “evil for good”. “Because somewhere it put my mind back in place. I had a form of unconsciousness. Everything I did, my evenings playing with musicians, partying, it was unconscious. I Maybe I was too young.”he admitted, visibly “grateful” of this drama.
