Today, 1 in 8 women is at risk of developing breast cancer. Fortunately, early detection saves thousands of lives. To raise awareness among women, the association “Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-en” created the “Pink October” campaign 29 years ago.
More than just a campaign, Pink October has literally become a movement that takes place throughout the month of October across France. To send a real nod to those who are fighting against the disease but also to inform and raise awareness and finally to raise funds for research.
