An 18-year-old young woman was indicted and imprisoned on Wednesday December 8 for intentional homicide, reports France Bleu Besançon. Arrested Monday, she admitted at the end of her police custody having killed Theo D., a young man of 23 who had been missing since November 30.
Her body was found Tuesday at the young woman’s home in Oiselay-et-Grachaux (Haute-Saône), while a call for witnesses had been launched to find it. During her hearings, she explained that she had stabbed Théo D. for an as yet undetermined reason. She then strangled him, which resulted in death according to the autopsy report.
After killing him, she explains that she hid the body in a cupboard in her apartment and then continued her life almost normally, specifies France Bleu. Additional examinations should make it possible to specify the date of death, which dates back to the night of November 29 to 30, according to the declarations of the young woman.
The Besançon prosecutor’s office will give a press conference on Thursday December 9 at 8:30 am.
