An 18-year-old young man was stabbed with a knife on Saturday night in the Chomedey neighborhood in Laval.

A call was received at around 9:20 p.m. for a person with upper body injuries on Mackenzie Street, said Laval Police Department spokesperson Stéphanie Beshara.
The young victim was taken to a hospital, but his state of health was still unknown around 9:30 p.m.
The scene was protected on site to allow investigators to determine the circumstances of the event which took place outside.
