Employees of the Dassault Aviation company in Argonay (Haute-Savoie) blocked the entrance to the site on Tuesday, February 15 with a filter dam. They are demanding a salary increase of 150 to 200 euros for workers, indicates France Bleu Pays de Savoie. This is the 17th blockage since November 2021 on this site of 450 employees.

A third of the company’s employees should join the movement, believe the CGT and the CFDT. The unions are asking for an increase of 200 euros per month for the workers, while the management of Dassault Aviation is offering 57 euros. In November 2021, the CGT and the CFDT refused to sign the 2021 wage agreement.

For them, the agreement forgets the workers and favors salary increases for executives. The CGT highlights the fact that the Dassault company recorded a new order for 42 Rafales for Indonesia last week, and thus ensures “an order book of 47 billion euros” in total and one “activity for at least the next 15 years.”

Philippe Poutou, the presidential candidate of the NPA is expected at noon on the spot to support the strikers. Blockages are planned on other Dassault sites, including that of Martignac and Poitiers.
