“The uncertainty is marked in terms of chronology or location. However, the risk of stationarity is very marked. This therefore requires treating it at orange level. The continuation of this episode is possible the following night from Tuesday to Wednesday, or even for the day of Wednesday also”also writes Météo France.
It should be noted that the Gard and the Hérault, in addition to the alert for the risk of storms, are also concerned by vigilance for the risk of rain-flooding. In these departments, “there is a significant risk of very heavy accumulations of rain in a short time, typically around 80 mm in less than three hours”, predicts Météo France. Hail and gusts of wind may also accompany these storms.
