The case, which had frightened many young people, took place in the middle of dinner time on March 29.

The occupants of a gray sport utility vehicle had approached the high school grounds and at least one of the occupants allegedly pointed a gun in the direction of teenagers waiting for the bus.

However, no shots were fired.

A few minutes earlier, a teenager, who was also waiting for the bus at the corner of Des Ormeaux and Georges avenues, had also had a gun pointed at him by the occupants of the same vehicle.

Due to his age, the identity of the arrested suspect cannot be revealed. A search was conducted at the suspect’s home, where ammunition and pistol spare parts were found.

According to the authorities, other arrests could take place in this case.

This story of gun violence came 10 days after the street shooting of 18-year-old Khaled Mouloudj in the same area.
