1,500 homes without electricity in Crest after an underground cable break

A 20,000 volt power cable stopped working overnight

It is a fault on an underground cable which has deprived 1,500 homes of power in Crest since around midnight in the center of the town. Many homes have no electricity, an incident that affects more than a hundred streets. Enedis agents have been on the ground for several hours and are working hard to repair this breakdown. A return to normal is expected for the middle of the afternoon around 3 p.m.
