The Gironde Assize Court followed the requisitions of the Advocate General who had requested between 14 and 15 years in prison this Friday morning against Alexis, 26 years old.
The court recognized it guilty of rape and sexual assault on 5 girls aged 3 to 5. He was sentenced this Friday evening to 15 years in prison. Present at the hearing, a dozen parents expressed their relief.

The facts happened during the children’s siesta at the Mille Potes summer camp in Arcachon in December 2016. During the investigation and before the Assize Court this week, the young man admitted sexual urge and touching once on 3 girls, but he always denied the rape charges.
Christian Blazy, lawyer for the accused, deplored a case _“hairpin and overhyped”_which should have been tried according to him before a criminal court. When the verdict was announced, the defense indicated that it would appeal immediately and would try to obtain a release.
