15-year-old boy missing in Montreal

Montreal police fear for the safety of a missing 15-year-old with cognitive impairment.

Steven Marakot, 15, was seen for the last time, Saturday, around 4 p.m., in René-Goupil park, in the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough.

The teenager suffers from cognitive impairment and cannot communicate verbally. Montreal police fear for his health and safety, and are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Of Asian origin, Steven Marakot is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, the teenager was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes with white lines. He travels on foot and likes to frequent restaurants such as Tim Hortons and McDonald’s and shopping malls.

Police say he may be confused and disoriented.
