A 14-year-old girl was taken into police custody on Sunday March 13 in Fabrègues (Hérault). She is suspected of having killed her forty-year-old father with a knife and injured her mother and her eight-year-old little sister, reports France Bleu Hérault on Monday. She admitted the facts while in police custody.
The teenager fled after the events with one of her friends, before being arrested in the evening. In police custody, she could not precisely explain the reasons for her action, but she mentioned that she could no longer bear the reproaches of her parents.
The teenager also explained that she hit her father with a knife in the chest, before attacking her mother and sister who are hospitalized in serious condition. Only her six-year-old sister was uninjured but witnessed the scene. The 14-year-old girl is still in custody on Monday afternoon. A psychiatric expertise was requested.
