A day of rest and serious things are already starting again for the Tour de France peloton. After a lively first week concluded at the top of the puy du Dôme with the success of the Canadian Michael Woods (Israel-Premier Tech)the runners start the second weekTuesday July 11, between the Vulcania park and Issoire.

On a profile that has almost no flat meters, the peloton will be faced with five listed climbs: the Col de la Moreno (3rd category, 4.8 km at 4.7%), the Col de Guéry (3rd category, 7.8 km at 5%), the Col de la Croix Saint-Robert (2nd category, 6 km at 6.3% average), the coast of Saint-Victor-la-Rivière (3rd category, 3 km at 5 .9% on average), the Chapelle-Marcousse coast (3rd category, 6.5 km at 5.6%).

167.2 km long, the route of the tenth stage does not seem to be cut out for a massive sprint. Punchers and fighters could do well. Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma), Julian Alaphillipe (Soudal Quick-Step) or Valentin Madouas (Groupama-FDJ) are among the riders who could compete for the final victory.
