Health authorities reported Thursday 2,135 hospitalizations, including 734 due to COVID-19, an increase of 51 compared to December 29, 2022. Of these, 28 people are in intensive care, a decrease of 7.
Quebec also reports 14 additional deaths from the disease, including none in the last 24 hours, and officially lists 1,217 new cases of COVID-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,288,481 infections have been reported, and 17,714 of them have been fatal.
