130 people denounce the closure of the crossing point at the port of Larrau

The meeting place was symbolic. Despite the administrative closure since last January, the 130 people gathered this Sunday at the Port of Larrau. At the time, the prefect had decided to close it with other crossing points because of terrorist risk. To date, 5 crossing points remain closed in the department. Activists denounce this closure, and went a little further, on the Navarre side in the center of the mountain, a place for hikers.

On the spot, three speeches, in Basque, French and Spanish to denounce this border closure which has “no meaning” according to them. “Mugarik ez, Euskal Herrian” (“No border in the Basque Country” in Basque) they sang using banners.
