Twelve people were arrested and placed in police custody Tuesday evening in the 6th arrondissement of Paris by the BRAV-M for “participation in a group with the aim of committing damage or violence”, the Radio France agency learned this Wednesday with the Paris public prosecutor’s office. From a source close to the case at franceinfo, the individuals are members of the ultra-right.

According to the first elements, these are Parisian supporters who were leaving a bar, hooded. Two of them had smoke bombs. From a close source to franceinfo, these individuals were ready to do battle with Spanish supporters, on the sidelines of the meeting scheduled for this Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. at the Parc des Princes between PSG and the Spaniards Real Sociedad in the round of 16 of the League champions.

According to the prosecution, a person was brought before the prosecutor’s delegate for “possession of an incendiary device”. The 11 other police custody cases resulted in dismissals “on the grounds that no offense was sufficiently characterized”, specifies the Paris prosecutor’s office.
