12 injured including 6 children in a stairwell fire in Wasquehal

A fire broke out this Sunday evening in a 4-storey building at the Residence Molinel in Wasquehal. The fire started in the stairwell where a mattress had been stored, it spread to a first floor apartment where a lady and her 2 children were.

The children jumped from the window and were caught by residents, the mother who also jumped, suffered an ankle injury. In the neighboring apartments, 3 children and 6 adults were slightly poisoned by the flames.
