Carlos Ghosn, former CEO of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, which in 2017 reached the world’s first place among car manufacturers, fled illegally from Japan on December 29, 2019 in incredible conditions. The leader was arrested in Tokyo in November 2018 and was awaiting trial, suspected by Japanese justice of financial embezzlement.

After spending more than three months in prison, at the Tokyo detention center, and then being placed under house arrest, Carlos Ghosn left Japanese territory in conditions worthy of a Hollywood film. He is today at Lebanon, where he joined his wife Carole. They are now both fugitives. Japan has issued an Interpol Red Notice, an international arrest warrant, against the couple.
