(Taipei) Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said Monday it had detected 103 Chinese warplanes around the island in the space of 24 hours, an unusually high number.
“103 People’s Liberation Army aircraft and nine People’s Liberation Army Navy ships were detected around Taiwan between Sunday and Monday morning,” the ministry said in a statement.
