In 2012, with Philippe Croizon, a four-legged amputated swimmer who also crossed the English Channel, they linked together the five continents by swimming in 100 Days.
Since then, Arnaud Chassery has traveled the world to raise awareness of difference, of disability and to advocate for accessibility. In 2017, he left with Yann Jondot, paraplegic mayor of Langoëlan, a town in Morbihan, installed in his joëlette, a one-wheel wheelchair towed towards Tanzania and the ascent of Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) to defend the rights people with disabilities. He plans to repeat the experience in 2024. For 2 years, he plans to create a 100% icaunaise team to take two joellettes to the summit of Kilimanjaro. The first preparatory hikes take place on Sunday October 16 at the Domaine des Senons in Paron. So why not you?
