10-year-old boy missing in Montreal

A 10-year-old boy has been missing from the Côte-Saint-Luc area of ​​Montreal since Tuesday. Jordan Blessing Nkhingu was last seen on July 30, around 3 a.m.

The black-skinned boy is said to be wearing a black Puma backpack and carrying a basketball. He has black hair, brown eyes, is 140 cm tall and weighs 32 kg.

The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) indicates that Jordan Blessing Nkhingu could be traveling on foot and that “investigators have reason to fear for his health and safety.” The reasons for his disappearance are still unknown.

Jordan Blessing Nkhingu was spotted by his family on the night of July 30, around 3 a.m. Around 9 a.m., the family noticed he was missing and carried out an independent search until the evening, when they called 911, notes officer Véronique Dubuc, in charge of media relations at the SPVM.

The SPVM states that police officers and investigators are on site and are conducting a search of the area in order to find the boy. The SPVM’s Disappearances, Family Searches and Parental Abductions Team (EDRE) has taken charge of the case. The EDRE, in contact with the family, is currently looking for cameras that could have recorded the young boy.
