The most publicized trial in the world continues to make ink flow. From April 11 to June 1, 2022 Johnny Depp and his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard clashed inside and outside of Fairfax Court for defamation. During the long weeks that pitted the former lovers against each other, the two celebrities accused each other of domestic violence. A year ago, jurors finally decided to rule in favor of the 60-year-old actor, director, musician, screenwriter and producer. Indeed, the court had indeed ruled that the dad of Lily-Rose and Jack had been the victim of defamation. Result, the star of Aquaman had been sentenced to pay him a million dollars in damages.

Despite huge financial worries, Amber Heard would finally have paid off her debt. For his part, the actor would also have kept his word by donating the sum to several associations, including one to help children with fatal diseases. According to the latest information from TMZ, the actor who plays Louis XV in Maïwenn’s latest film project, Jeanne du Barryalso offered part of the sum to an organization that helps people in need to find housing, a foundation in favor of ecology and another to preserve the culture of the natives.
