The story
The irreducible in question is called Vincent Peltier (Jérôme Commandeur). In his family, we are civil servants from father to son. For years, Vincent has enjoyed the benefits of his status. When the government votes on a massive savings plan, Vincent is pushed out. Faced with Isabelle Bailliencourt (Pascale Arbillot), a zealous and cowardly ministerial inspector, Vincent refuses to capitulate and give up his job “guaranteed for life”. Determined to get rid of him to shine with the minister (Gérard Darmon), Isabelle Bailliencourt will use all the means in her power to get Vincent to resign. The film is populated by amazing supporting roles: Gérard Depardieu, Valérie Lemercier, Gérard Darmon, or even Christian Clavier as a “hardline” trade unionist, a perfect misuse.
