In Pontarlier, the first cinema sessions took place in 1902 in the village hall (current Bernard Blier theater), and the first private room opened in 1913 under the name of Cinéma Pathé. Subsequently renamed Olympia, the cinema had 4 screens when it was installed on Rue Gambetta.
Today is the essential multiplex of Pontarlier and all the territoryhousing six rooms, and inaugurated at the end of 2013.
