Belichick, at 72, sported a fisherman outfit complete with a wide-brimmed hat, a durable raincoat, boots, and jeans.
Meanwhile, Hudson embraced the mermaid theme with a vibrant red-orange scaly tail and a clam-shell top, accessorized with shell jewelry that enhanced her whimsical, ocean-inspired look.
In a playful pose depicting Belichick hauling in his catch of the day, Hudson captioned the post, “Ouucchhhh!!! ????.”
This was Hudson’s second costume of the Halloween season.
She had earlier dressed up for a Disney World celebration with friends, wearing a cropped New York Giants T-shirt— a fun nod to Belichick’s NFL history— paired with his iconic short shorts.
Speculation about Belichick and Hudson’s romance first emerged earlier this year, with sources indicating their relationship had been “romantic for a while now.”
On October 6, Hudson took to Instagram to make their relationship public by sharing a collection of photos from their summer vacation.
In one photo, Hudson and Belichick beamed against a sunset, with Belichick wearing a T-shirt from Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour, which he attended in July with Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes in Amsterdam.
Their paths first crossed in 2021 on a flight from Boston to Florida, where they exchanged contact details and kept in touch for months, as noted by Hudson’s former cheerleading colleagues who spoke to the media.
Their bond reportedly deepened after Belichick ended his long-term relationship with Linda Holliday in 2023.
Since then, the couple has been almost inseparable.
In March, Belichick was seen cheering for Hudson at a competition. They later traveled to Croatia for her work and attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction event in June, which was also when their relationship was confirmed by the media.
The significant age difference in Belichick’s new relationship soon became a topic among former players, including Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

Brady added to the humor, referencing the security footage of Belichick leaving Hudson’s apartment.
